I have an early evening appointment with Dr. Al Benson at Northwestern Memorial today. I'm anxious- will he recommend a totally different type of treatment than Loyola? Will he tell me there's nothing left to do? Will he point me towards "Hope"?
It's very hard to constantly create the "Hope" vibe.
After the appointment Lee & I are having dinner with Tim and Julie - always a great time with wonderful, dear friends.
I am feeling really really good. More energy than I've had in months & months. Chemo really does knock you for a loop. My hair is starting to grow again too!
I'll report back on the Dr Benson meeting!
XOXOX

Peggy, so glad to hear that you are feeling better and have more energy. I will be thinking of you this evening when you meet with Dr. Benson. Your composure and dignity throughout this ordeal has been and continues to be awesomely amazing! Say hi to Julie and Tim for me. Hugs and love, kirsten

ReplyDeleteWe'll be praying for you tonite and are of course demanding (not hoping :) for good news! I can understand your feelings being "all over the map" regarding the myriad of treatment options, outcomes, etc. So so glad you are feeling better. If HE brings us to it HE will bring us thru it. Keep the faith-and when you can't, we'll all keep it for you.
