Everybody Wang Chung Tonight, Peggy's Gettin' Fonged

Last post before I go under the knife.

Lee & I took a walk along the Hudson River from 43rd Ave up to 60th/Columbus Circle and Central Park.  The sun was finally out in NYC so people were out in droves and lovin' the Big Apple.  Tremendous people watching.

My Mom & Dad arrived at the apartment about 3 PM and Lee took them to get Bus passes, food, and they are at dinner now.

Me.  I am nursing that nasty Magensium Citrate - I used to chug beer, you think I could chug this crud??!!!
I'll pack my hopsital bag, take a super luxurious shower with Hibiclens - some de-germing stuff the hospital wants me to use, then try and not think about FOOD.

Good Night My lovely wonderful Warriors.  It's almost embarassing the abundant, over-flowing love and prayers that are on steroids right now for me.  I thank you all, and am forever greatful for your unending faithful prayer

XOXO

Peggy

  1. Okay, now I have ♪♫ Everybody Wang Chung Tonight ♪♫ stuck in my head. All night and all day tomorrow while I am thinking of you that song will be in my head and you will be in my heart.

I've invoked the Vermont, Wisconsin, and Eckelaert family prayer warriors, the FB peeps and my saxophone forum in the United Kingdom to pray and send healing your way.

I keep feeling that my Dad is up there looking down, he was so concerned and worried for you before he passed. He's an extra angel on your shoulder now, I just know it.

I won't sleep much tonight - love you dear friend with all my heart ♥

  2. Peggy,

I love you and I'm praying for you too! You are without question the bravest and most beautiful woman I know.

Sharing your life with us and giving us the great honor to take this journey with you has done so much for me personally. Praying for you and seeing God answer our prayers has renewed my faith over and over again. Thank you lovely Peggy, sweet dreams tonight, God's strength tomorrow and God's wisdom for Dr. Fong too.

    I love you!

    Mary

PS. See you soon, when this is all behind you!

  4. Hi Mrs. Luckey,

I haven't talked to you in far too long, but I have been following your blog for awhile now.

You have such an amazing spirit that I admire quite a bit and I really miss having you all in my life.

I just wanted to wish you well before tomorrow, though I know everything will go smoothly.

I cannot wait until you are back and feeling up to another Luckey-
Gordon mother daughter reunion... it's long overdue.

Love you and hope to see you soon.
